Goodyear is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to oversee warehouse activities, supervise hourly staff, and coordinate with Transportation and Inventory teams. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in shipping and receiving, and maintaining orderly operations within a distribution center environment.

The candidate should have forklift experience, strong inventory skills, and experience with WMS systems. Evening hours and overtime may be required, with a focus on continuous flow of finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities with Warehouse Associates.
• Support day-to-day operations with Warehouse Coordinator.
• Support operations with Transportation Specialist and Inventory Specialist.
• Assist Shift Supervisor and Third-Party Suppliers and Contractors as needed.
• Ensure on-time in/out bound loading and accurate cycle counting.

The ideal candidate should feel at ease undertaking duties related to managing personnel (hourly and loading services), which encompasses training tasks, orchestrating and distributing daily assignments, as well as addressing and resolving issues. In this role, prioritizing in/out-bound loading to ensure a continuous flow of finished goods with the Transportation Department, and eliminating errors in shipment through accurate cycle counting and row audits will be required.Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere.
