Job summary

Steico Industries, Inc. is seeking a Tubing Operator-Bend Runner in Oceanside, CA. You will process parts in the Bend department, perform pressure testing, and clean parts after bending using saws, end finishers, CNC tube benders, and related equipment.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with pay of $18.00–$19.00/hour plus a $1 shift differential. A high school diploma and mechanical aptitude are preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical inclination is a plus.
• Experience with saws and pneumatic tools beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Daily and monthly aqueous clean maintenance.
• Aqueous clean parts after bending.
• Polish parts with pneumatic braider to remove blemishes.
• Perform pressure testing of tubes and relieve stress.
• Check and measure tubes to customer specifications after testing.
• Read and follow travelers for routing jobs to next area.
• Trim, face and deburr parts in production cell.
• Restock supplies using Kanban to support the department.
• Adhere to 5S and safety requirements.
• Inspect, maintain and log preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Other duties as needed by business and operations.
