The Opportunity

Our FSOTax Technology and Transformation practice will give you the opportunity to further develop your skills while assisting our financial services clients in dealing with the operational challenges that their world-class tax functions are facing today. We offer a broad array of services, including tax accounting and compliance process improvement, tax sensitization of ERP systems, automation of complex hedge fund allocations, and enhancement of tax processes and/or technology to deal with ongoing legislative and regulatory changes. You will work with clients to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of their tax functions and help them connect better with executive management.

Your Key Responsibilities

Depending on client needs and your experience, you could work on various projects such as improving operational effectiveness in tax functions, reviewing processes and controls including technology, assessing the effectiveness of tax systems to increase automation and data quality, evaluating overall risk to establish a proper control environment, and designing and building custom tax applications. As a staff member, you will collaborate with leadership on these impactful projects.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on deliverables with onshore teams to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Proficiency in documenting technical and business requirements, and prioritizing issues
• Interest and experience in enhancing tax function performance, teamwork, motivation, and building meaningful client and colleague relationships

Minimum Qualifications

• Exposure to the financial services industry, accounting/finance/tax, tax or finance performance improvement, tax software development and/or implementation
• At least 6 months to 2 years of experience in International Commerce

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of implementing tax technology solutions (e.g., CorpTax, ONESOURCE, Gosystem RS, Partner Forms, SharePoint, RPA software)
• Experience with custom applications (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, PowerBI)
