Job summary

Madera Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee daily operations during the PM shift. You will ensure resident care is delivered with kindness, dignity, and respect while coordinating with the charge nurse and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include admissions/transfers, care plan assessments, medication administration, rounds with physicians, and enforcing infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school or college.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, transferring and discharging residents.
• Assessment and development of resident care plans.
• Ensuring that all resident care rooms and treatment areas are clean and safe.
• Maintaining medicine supply room well stocked.
• Monitoring nursing staff to ensure compliance with care plans.
• Passing out medications when needed.
• Making rounds with physicians as requested.
• Attending meetings and serving on committees.
• Completing accidents/incident reports as required.
• Adhering to facility policies and infection control.
