Responsibilities

• Manage multiple order downloads throughout the night.
• Track delivery route creation and route balancing to ensure timely delivery and efficiency.
• Maintain stop/customer database and standard routes.
• Communicate with Management, Transportation, Dispatch, and Warehouse via phone, email, and in-person.
• Send work assignments to warehouse order selectors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Testa Produce is a wholesale produce and food service distributor serving customers throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

Essential Functions:

• Manage multiple order downloads throughout the night.
• Track delivery Route creation and route balancing as necessary to ensure timely delivery to customers while maintaining route efficiency
• Regular maintenance of stop/customer database and standard routes
• Effective communication with Management, Transportation, Dispatch, and Warehouse via phone, email, and in-person
• Send work assignments to warehouse order selectors
• Other duties as assigned

Competencies, Education, and Experience:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong knowledge of the Chicagoland area (roads, geography, traffic conditions, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dual language, Spanish-English strongly preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Compensation:

• $25 per hour

Schedule:

• Must be able to work evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Sunday - Friday, with 1 other day off most weeks (ability to work 6 days if needed)
• Shift: 2 pm-10 pm

Physical Demands:

Stand or walk for long periods of time
