Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a qualified PM&R physician to conduct independent medical assessments for U.S. Veterans. You will review medical records, perform comprehensive evaluations, and complete VA-provided DBQs through a secure online portal. This role is non-treating and focused on disability evaluations for the VA.

Responsibilities include assessing up to four veterans daily, ensuring thorough and accurate DBQ submissions within 24 hours of each assessment, and working part-time (1 day per week).

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified/eligible in PM&R.
• Experience performing independent medical assessments for veterans.
• Ability to review complex medical records and synthesize findings.
• Experience completing VA-DBQs using templates.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records via secure portal.
• Conduct non-treating assessments documenting current health conditions.
• Complete and submit VA-DBQs promptly using templates.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in documentation.
