Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department is seeking a Research Coordinator to support the PMR Research Team. You will assist the PI and studies, manage documentation, scheduling, orders, and communication with participants.

The role emphasizes adherence to study protocols, data management, and coordination of regulatory submissions while contributing to the department's mission to advance patient care and scientific discovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience.
• Ability to manage data entry, scheduling, and participant communication.
• Familiarity with human subject research protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with human subjects research activities, including participant recruitment and informed consent.
• Perform data collection, entry, management, and analysis.
• Prepare progress reports, study reports, and maintain records.
• Coordinate site monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Assist with budgets and invoicing; collaborate with the Office of Sponsored Projects.
• Support PI and research team to meet milestones and deadlines.
