Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking a BE/BC PM&R Physician to join a physician-owned physiatry practice in Columbia, SC. The practice emphasizes autonomous ownership with high earning potential and market-building opportunities, without the administrative burden of backend operations.

The role is 1099 with a base of $325K and uncapped earning potential to $425–$500K. New grads welcome; part-time options; travel to Florence 2x per week to cover that site. No call, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Be/BC PM&R physician

Responsibilities

• Facility rounds two or more times weekly for initial evaluations and follow-ups
• Attend Medicare meetings
• Discuss discharge plans during weekly Medicare meetings
• Communicate plan of care with patients and families
• Screen assisted living and long-term care residents for Medicare Part B therapy
• Support the primary care team including therapy, nursing and administration
• Perform joint injections as needed (knees and shoulders)
• Perform trigger point injections as needed to manage pain
• Diagnose orthopedic, neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Sign home health and durable medical equipment orders at discharges as appropriate
• Provide clinical documentation for therapy, RAC Audits and federal surveys
