Job summary

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, part of Allina Health, seeks a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join a mature physiatry group at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Campus. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient PM&R, hospital-based consultation services, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

You will work with experienced physicians, APPs, and hospitalists in a stable, mission-driven environment focused on functional recovery and teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine.
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA PM&R residency.
• Licensed or eligible for MN Board of Medical Practice and PM&R board certification.
• ACLS-BLS Tier 3 certification within 180 days of hire.
• DEA registration required at hire; Prescription Monitoring Program required.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Admit and round on patients in a 16-bed inpatient rehab unit within a 500-bed hospital.
• Provide PM&R consultation services in hospital and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with three other physicians and two APPs in a team-based model.
• Interest/experience in spasticity management and related procedures preferred.
