Job summary

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, part of Allina Health, is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join a well-established rehabilitation practice. The role spans inpatient and outpatient care, hospital-based PM&R consultations, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote functional recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an approved school.
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Physical Medicine and Rehab residency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat functional impairments associated with cancer and cancer treatments.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans focused on improving function, mobility and quality of life.
• Manage cancer-related symptoms including pain, neuropathy, fatigue, lymphedema, weakness and mobility limitations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology and rehabilitation teams.
• Prescribe rehabilitation therapies, assistive devices and durable medical equipment.
• Perform rehabilitation and musculoskeletal procedures as appropriate.
• Support patients across the cancer care continuum, from active treatment through survivorship.
• Participate in program development, education, research and quality improvement initiatives.
