SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, is seeking a PMR Medical Director for a balanced 1.0 FTE role (70% inpatient, 30% outpatient) with exclusive EMG services and a lead position in inpatient rehab. The Medical Group offers a supportive environment near St.

Qualifications

• Fellowship or equivalent training in Physiatry with pediatric/PM&R or internal medicine/PM&R, or 2 years of rehab practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the inpatient rehab program with a 10-bed unit.
• Provide medical direction for rehab services about 20 hours per week.
• Collaborate with hospitalists for inpatient consults and ensure comprehensive patient care.
