Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL seeks an experienced general Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join our PM&R practice and collaborate with the inpatient rehab consulting program for Woodstock Hospital. Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Inpatient rehab or consultative services experience preferred.
• Seven years+ post-residency/fellowship leadership preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the consultant provider team with referral relationships and quality outcomes.
• Provide timely responses to PM&R referrals with rehab recommendations.
• Conduct on-site and virtual consultations to assess rehab needs.
• Determine rehab level of care and inpatient rehabilitation eligibility.
• Ensure smooth discharge planning from IRF when needed.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to address patient needs.
• Engage with insurers for Peer-to-Peer reviews.
• Participate in Utilization Management, Quality, and Safety.
• Weekend IP call rotation inclusion.
• Other duties as assigned by the CMO.
