ENCOMPASS HEALTH REHABILITATION HOSPITAL OF HOUSTON MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a PM&R physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation hospital in downtown Houston. You will manage a medically complex inpatient caseload and potentially develop an outpatient practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

• Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred.
• New grads welcome.

ENCOMPASS HEALTH REHABILITATION HOSPITAL OF HOUSTON MEDICAL CENTER

Encompass Health has an opportunity for a physiatrist to join our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital in the downtown Houston area.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for a full time PM&R interested in building a practice that supports the Houston patient needs.

ENCOMPASS HEALTH PHYSIATRY PRACTICE

PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes – Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Houston Medical Center

Complementing local acute care services, the future hospital in Houston will serve patients recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries, including strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. In addition to 24–hour nursing care, this hospital will offer physical, occupational and speech therapies to restore functional ability and quality of life.
