Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring Production Crew for the AM and PM shifts. You’ll be at the center of the line, performing tasks across four positions to meet production and quality standards.

We value team players with a positive attitude. Starting pay is $19.35 per hour plus a $1 shift differential; benefits include health insurance, weekly pay, paid vacation and holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities to apply for other roles.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift to 75 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment (48–100°F).
• Previous production experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals.
• Understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality.
• Adhere to procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality per Daily's rules.
• Follow all Daily's food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in meeting production and quality targets; maintain accurate counts and records.

Summary

We're looking for productions workers for our first (AM) and second (PM) shifts. You'll be at the center of attention where you'll be involved in one of four positions: pump, raw, press, and precook.

Starting Pay: $19.35 + 1$ shift differential per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals
• understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads
• Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules
• Follow all Daily's food security guidelines
• Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook
• Assist Department Supervisor, Production Lead and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirement by doing the following
• Maintain accurate counts
• Adhere to product specifications
• Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed
• Keeping accurate records as needed
• Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
• Always minimize scrap
• Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
• Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area
• washing buildings and equipment as needed and scheduled
• keeping all trash and items picked up
• Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
• other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Successful candidate will have to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift to 75 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment from 48 up to more 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• The noise level is the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud.
• Previous production experience is preferred but not required.
