Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats LLC in Salt Lake City, UT seeks production workers for the first (AM) and second (PM) shifts. You will handle roles like pump, raw, press, and precook as part of a fast-paced team.

Starting Pay: $19.35 per hour plus $1 shift differential. Benefits include health insurance, overtime opportunities, weekly pay, paid vacation, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds.
• Good vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focusing ability.
• Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, humid environment (48–100°F).
• Noise level is usually moderate to very loud.

Responsibilities

• Follow department procedures from training manuals.
• Understand bacon specs to ensure quality.
• Adhere to attendance, safety, and food security guidelines.
• Assist supervisors and team to meet production and quality requirements.
• Maintain product specifications and correct line speed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; minimize scrap.

Summary:

We're looking for productions workers for our first (AM) and second (PM) shifts. You'll be at the center of attention where you'll be involved in one of four positions: pump, raw, press, and precook.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

• Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals
• understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads
• Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules
• Follow all Daily's food security guidelines
• Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook
• Assist Department Supervisor, Production Lead and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirement by doing the following
• Adhere to product specifications
• Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed
• Keeping accurate records as needed
• Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
• Always minimize scrap
• Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
• Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area
• washing buildings and equipment as needed and scheduled
• keeping all trash and items picked upAssisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
• other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Successful candidate will have to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift to 75 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment from 48 up to more 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• The noise level is the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud.
• Previous production experience is preferred but not required.
