Liscio's Italian Bakery Inc. in Glassboro, NJ is seeking a Pastry Associate to bake, pack, and organize customer orders in a fast-paced production setting.

You will assist in scaling, mixing, and baking various cakes and pastries, with a focus on maintaining high quality and accurate inventory while keeping a clean workspace. Expect 8–10 hour shifts, 5 days a week including weekends and holidays, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (8–10 hour shifts) 5 days a week including weekends and holidays (5:00 PM–1:00 AM).
• Must be able to work overtime as needed by Supervisor.
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Willing and able to stand for long periods; read documents and labels; perform pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying tasks.
• Exposure to allergens in the work environment.

Job description

As a Pastry Associate, you will be responsible for the baking, packing, completion, and organization of customer orders. You will be responsible for assisting in scaling, mixing, baking of various cakes and pastries. Maintain high level of quality, consistency of product. Mix frostings and fillings. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Keep accurate and consistent inventory of ingredients and finished product. This includes moving, unloading, packing, labeling, stacking, and other duties as needed. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal).
