Job summary

FOX8 in High Point, NC seeks an experienced news anchor/reporter to deliver engaging content for the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts. Youll anchor on air, contribute reporting, and maintain strong presence on our streaming app and website.

• Present news stories for all platforms.

• Acts as a field anchor as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum four years' experience in news reporting and anchoring

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
