Job summary

Nexstar Media's FOX8 news team in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced anchor/reporter to deliver the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts across platforms. You will maintain strong reporting skills, contribute to streaming and website content, and bring journalistic integrity to every story.

The role requires at least four years in news reporting and anchoring, a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism or related field, excellent communication, deadline discipline, and a valid driver's license.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum four years' experience in news reporting and anchoring
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
