We are seeking Cook I, II, and III to join our culinary team. Reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs. This position is non-exempt.
Our hotels are uniquely designed to celebrate local communities, with a focus on People, Place, and Character. The Detroit Foundation Hotel, managed by Aparium, transforms Detroit's historic Fire Department Headquarters into a boutique hotel emphasizing local culture and culinary excellence.
You understand the art and science of hospitality, delight in creating positive experiences, and thrive in busy environments. Your goal is to ensure a clean, organized, and joyful kitchen environment.
You will work directly with culinary leadership, developing and executing scratch-made dishes, demonstrating basic culinary techniques, and collaborating with your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Respect, humility, and open communication are essential values.
