Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking a Full-Time Barista for our Hotel Lobby Market. This role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold foods while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety, with a hands-on approach to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Proficiency in preparing a wide range of dishes and using kitchen tools.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Open availability for PM shifts (2:30pm–4pm) with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare a variety of hot and cold items with precision and presentation.
• Kitchen Equipment Use: Operate grills, fryers, ovens, slicers and utensils safely.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Organize and rotate stock, label with expiration dates.
• Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and equipment.
• Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Food Presentation: Ensure attractive plating and quality presentation.
