The Line Cook will participate in preparing, presenting, and executing menu orders for a high-volume three-meal hotel restaurant, Coastal Kitchen and Bar, and In-Room Dining. Occasionally, this role may assist in preparing banquet menu items. Responsibilities include following food safety guidelines, training and guiding other cooks, enforcing hygiene standards, and monitoring inventory. The position reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and requires high energy, organization, professionalism, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key job requirements and duties:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a full-service hotel or restaurant environment.
  2. Ability to properly use kitchen tools and equipment, follow recipes, and prepare food promptly.
  3. Professional communication skills and ability to supervise other cooks, oversee product quality and production.
  4. Work hours from 3 pm to 10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 2:30 pm to 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays are required.
  5. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
  6. Cook food according to recipes and standards, operate kitchen equipment, and complete closing procedures.
