Primary Responsibilities
  1. Load articles into washers and dryers, add specified amounts of detergents and cleaning agents.
  2. Operate washer and dryer controls properly.
  3. Clean lint from dryer filters twice daily.
  4. Transfer linens between washer and dryer, and manage laundry loads efficiently.
  5. Ensure storage and laundry rooms are secured after use.
  6. Sort linens, identify stained or torn items, and manage damaged linen processing.
  7. Fold and organize linens and towels.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of storerooms and laundry areas.
  9. Ensure sufficient linens are stocked on each floor.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with laundry equipment required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
