Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting rooms.
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows and floors.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and stock/maintain supply rooms.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
• Greet guests, deliver requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage and resolve guest inquiries promptly.
• Organize and store luggage according to guidelines.
• Support in equipment maintenance and overall property appearance.
• Conduct routine property tours to assist with tray pickup and security.

Job description

A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/ conference rooms.
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping entry way, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair, stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner, deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage, respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Organize and store luggage, as needed, according to guidelines.
• Assist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment
• Perform routine property tours to assist with tray pick up, garbage removal, overall property security.
