Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks a PM Housekeeping Manager to supervise the overnight housekeeping team, ensure guest rooms and public areas meet luxury standards, and coordinate with other departments for a smooth handoff to daytime management.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with 2–3 years supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort, strong leadership and safety knowledge, and the ability to work 5pm–2am year-round.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA safety standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
• Experience with housekeeping scheduling systems is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Flexible schedule with overnight, weekend, and holiday availability

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the second shift housekeeping and overnight teams, including guest room attendants and lobby attendants
• Coordinate nightly cleaning assignments and public area rotations to keep spaces clean, stocked, and secure
• Respond promptly to late-night guest requests, deliveries, and housekeeping needs
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, hallways, public restrooms, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including PPE use and chemical handling
• Monitor linen usage and coordinate overnight laundry operations
• Communicate maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to relevant departments
• Manage employee scheduling, breaks, and shift coverage for full second shift
• Train and coach night shift staff on resort procedures and hospitality standards
• Prepare and deliver shift reports and communicate overnight updates to daytime leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time / 5pm – 2am

Pay Range: $58,000 – $66,000/year. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Supervise and support the second shift housekeeping team and overnight housekeeping team, including guest room attendants, house attendants, and lobby attendants.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling

• Manage employee scheduling, breaks, and shift coverage to ensure full second shift coverage
• Train and coach second shift and overnight team members to follow resort procedures and hospitality standards
• Prepare and deliver shift reports and communicate overnight updates to daytime leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA safety standards
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight during overnight hours
• Proficiency with housekeeping and scheduling systems (e.g., Nuvola) a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
