Guest Service Agent Overview

The Guest Service Agent is a fun yet challenging role within the hotel, often the first and last point of contact for guests. This role significantly impacts the guest experience. Agents need to think quickly, handle multiple situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive demeanor. A "can-do" attitude is essential.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Greeting and thanking guests sincerely and warmly.
  2. Checking in and out guests efficiently.
  3. Assigning rooms and managing administrative duties.
  4. Answering phones and posting charges.
  5. Completing daily checklists and passing information across departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  6. Communicating with guests to meet their needs.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Friendly and pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for 3pm-11pm shifts and some overnight shifts (11pm-7am).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet performance standards.
  • Physical mobility and stamina.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
