Job summary

Wolter, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a PM Technician to perform scheduled field maintenance at customer sites and to build strong client relationships. You will travel to jobs, maintain vehicle inventory, and complete required paperwork with customer signatures.

You must be mechanically inclined, possess a valid driver's license, and be willing to undergo training; basic computer skills are needed to document work and communicate with the office.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with solid base skills on powered industrial equipment.
• Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be certified to operate material handling equipment (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to complete all assigned jobs.
• Maintain inventory in service vehicle – filters, oil, etc.
• Attend service training classes to maintain knowledge on products.
• Complete and submit paperwork daily for jobs worked on at the job site.
• Communicate with dispatcher and service office regarding status and availability.
• Identify safety-related items and inform customer and supervisor.
• If permissible, perform repairs on site with customer approval.
• Develop and maintain relationships with territory sales representatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company truck.
• Adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Wolter, Inc., a material handling industry leader, is looking for an PM Technician. Based out of our Atlanta location, this position is responsible for specializing in performing Scheduled Maintenance jobs in the field for our customers on customer premises – meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. We are looking for an PM Technician to service our customers within the surrounding areas of Atlanta.. At Wolter we’re on a mission to move, store, and power the world more efficiently. Duties

• Travel to customer to complete all jobs that are assigned to you.
• Maintain inventory in service vehicle – filters, oil, etc.
• Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.
• Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customers’ signature). Paperwork must be completed at job site before leaving for the next job or going home.
• Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office as to status of jobs and availability for new jobs.
• While completing jobs, look for any additional items that may need repair or appear to be worn – inform customer, especially if safety related (example: lights, backup alarms).
• Inform supervisor of possible additional items so they can follow up with customer and note on maintenance report.
• If repair is something you can take care of with customer’s permission, do so.
• Develop and maintain relationship with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company truck. Report any repairs needed to vehicle to supervisor.
• Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be mechanically inclined with solid base skills on powered industrial equipment, must successfully complete any training courses required, strong customer orientation, must be a good communicator – written and verbal, must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals, must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list, must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, must be certified to operate material handling equipment (we will train), and must have a commitment to the company vision and mission.
