Job summary

Bear Tooth in Anchorage is seeking a reliable Dish Machine Operator to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and equipment in a fast-paced kitchen. Evening availability is required and there are opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and hold a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card.
• Dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
• Gather bins of dishes and supplies from kitchens.
• Organize dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleaning.
• Safely handle and change out dish machine chemicals as needed.
• Wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes and restaurant equipment.
• Deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to designated locations.
• Report equipment quality issues to a Manager.
• Complete opening, closing, and side duties.
• Collaborate with coworkers in a respectful, team-oriented manner.

JOB SUMMARY

Are you ready to be a key player in a bustling kitchen? As a Dish Machine Operator (DMO) at Bear Tooth, you’ll ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized, keeping our operations running smoothly. We are hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Evening availability is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
2. Gather bins of dishes and supplies from the kitchens
3. Organize dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleaning
4. Safely handle and change out dish machine chemicals as needed
5. Wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes and restaurant equipment
6. Deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to their designated locations
7. Promptly report equipment quality issues to a Manager
8. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
9. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

1. Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
