Job summary

Honeybird La Canada Flintridge is seeking a PM Dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean, organized, and efficient. You will wash and store dishes, assist in keeping the area sanitary, and support both front and back of house operations in a collaborative setting.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, and you will join a dedicated team committed to high standards for guest service in La Canada Flintridge, CA.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills promptly.
• Maintain tidy work area and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Handle trash and recycling duties, including trash room cleaning as needed.
• Support Front and Back of House operations by keeping wares clean and ready for use.
• Perform special cleaning projects like ovens, refrigerators, and metal polishing as directed.
• Follow all State and Local Health Dept rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by chefs or supervisors.

What You'll Be Doing

As a PM Dishwasher, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
• Keep the kitchen spotless by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills immediately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Handle trash and recycling duties, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning the trash room, and hosing down areas as needed.
• Support both Front and Back of House operations by ensuring wares and equipment are always clean, sanitized, and ready for use.
• Complete special cleaning projects, such as cleaning ovens, refrigerators, and polishing metal surfaces, as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
• Adhere to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by chefs or supervisors.
