**Job Description**

The Dietary Worker provides patient support via phone and software systems and serves as a liaison to other departments regarding patient meal services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

**Compensation:** The hourly rate for this position is $15.00. This is Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Operate comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment where calls are recorded and evaluated.
2. Maintain a friendly, efficient, customer service-oriented demeanor toward patients, clients, and colleagues.
3. Be adaptable to customer needs.
4. Handle patient calls for meal orders, questions, or direct calls related to nutritional needs.
5. Use software to record patient orders accurately.
6. Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure correct meal processing.
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient nutrition.
8. Protect patient privacy and safety, adhering to confidentiality and sanitation standards.
9. Comply with Aramark standards, policies, and relevant regulations, maintaining accurate records.

**Qualifications**

• Previous experience in customer service or call centers preferred.
• Experience in food service or as a dietary clerk is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual skills are advantageous.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• EPIC software experience is a plus.
• Comfort with technology, including web-based software, keyboards, and headsets; typing speed of 35-45 wpm preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
