Job description

Hilton Garden Inn Lebanon, a Colwen Hotels Property, is in search of experienced PM Cooks to join our Food and Beverage team! The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience and possess a high level of dependability and attention to detail. General Responsibilities:

1. Prepare food following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
2. Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards.
3. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
4. Follow instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef.
5. Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and high-quality manner.
6. Date and rotate stored food items according to safety standards.
7. Maintain proper time and temperature standards.
8. Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
9. Assist in dishwashing and other kitchen duties as needed.
10. Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
11. Operate and clean kitchen equipment properly.
12. Assist in prep work for upcoming shifts.
13. Ensure proper cleanup and breakdown of the kitchen at shift end.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
• Understanding of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork skills
• Personal hygiene maintenance
• Prior related experience preferred
• ServSafe or equivalent food handling certification as required
