Job Description

The kitchen staff's objective is to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Staff should be friendly and courteous to colleagues and front-of-house staff. You will assist the service staff to enhance guest experience, ensure the quality of prep items by following recipes and procedures, and adhere to safety standards such as proper lifting, using appropriate cutlery, wearing non-slip shoes, and handling hot items safely.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Follow, enforce, and adhere to all Bob's Steak & Chophouse rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes.
  • Communicate with the Chef to understand daily tasks and coordinate work, completing the prep list.
  • Perform work assignments to meet quantity and time requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of all restaurant stations and menu presentations.
  • Coordinate with line cooks for proper pars and production needs.
