Job Description

The Barback will assist bartenders by maintaining cleanliness, supporting bar setup, and stocking supplies.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in bar setup and opening.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
3. Assist in closing the bar.
4. Stock bar stations to par levels.
5. Support bartenders and cocktail servers with service.
6. Maintain clean glassware as needed.
7. Ensure liquor bottles are stocked at par levels.
8. Assist with requisition processes.
9. Familiarize with the liquors and beers sold in the bar.
10. Greet all guests promptly and courteously.
11. Focus attention on bartenders and servers' needs, remaining calm and courteous.
12. Think clearly and quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.
13. Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
14. Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications

1. Must have an open and flexible schedule, able to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
2. Ability to stand for extended periods.
3. Current Cobb County Alcohol Permit.
4. Food Handlers Certification.
5. Previous experience as a barback preferred.
