Job summary

Public Service Plumber is looking for skilled Plumbing Technicians to install, repair and maintain residential plumbing systems, including sinks, water heaters, toilets, and appliances. You will diagnose problems, explain options to customers, and provide safe, compliant repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Journeyman / Tradesmen license or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers.
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locater equipment.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Execute troubleshooting to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Explain to the customer what service you are performing and provide prices with approval.
• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
• Maintain detailed records of services with before/after photos.
• Stay safety conscious on the job and while driving.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
