The Plumbing Technician is responsible for maintaining plumbing and piping systems and associated components, identifying repair/replacement opportunities, and providing excellent customer service. This role will lead the installing, maintaining, and repairing of plumbing systems and fixtures which will include toilet replacements, faucet replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs. In addition, this role will inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential.
The position lifts heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs., walks, sits and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively lifts and carries heavy loads. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina. Seeing with the ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens are required.
The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
