Carter's Plumbing Service P.C. dba Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Jackson, TN is hiring full-time Plumbing Technicians to run residential and commercial service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs.

We offer experience-based pay of $60,000 - $100,000 per year, PTO, 401(k) with company match, mentor/apprentice program, uniforms, and company-provided phone plus take-home vehicle. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle.
• On-call rotation participation and overtime flexibility.
• Proficiency with tablets and mobile devices.
• Comfort performing physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Run residential and commercial service calls and communicate with customers professionally.
• Inspect systems, diagnose issues, and complete repairs, installations, and services.
• Document services and interactions in the company tablet.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance and upsell where appropriate.

THE PLUMBING TECHNICIAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle
• Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed
• Proficiency with communication tools like tablets and mobile devices
• Comfort performing physical work, including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting 50 lbs

At least 1 year of residential or commercial service plumbing experience would be preferred but isn't required for the right person. Experience with sales, customer communications, and field service software would also be a bonus!

CAN YOU HANDLE THESE JOB DUTIES?

You'll run residential and commercial service calls, professionally communicating with customers and representing our company with pride. Motivated to do a great job, you'll inspect systems, diagnose issues, and complete the proper repairs, installations, and services. You'll clearly explain system problems and solutions to customers and educate them on preventive maintenance. As you work, you'll document your services and interactions in the company tablet. You'll also have the opportunity to recommend additional upgrades and improvements to earn sales incentives and drive company revenue.

7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with some variation based on work needs, and some on-call as required
