Roto-Rooter of Athens is seeking dependable, experienced Plumbers / Service Technicians to join our locally owned team. You will work with residential and commercial customers to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional plumbing experience required.
• State plumbing license required.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing systems.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Install, repair, maintain, and replace plumbing fixtures and water heaters.
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer line services.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems accurately and efficiently.
• Explain findings and options to customers, and prepare estimates.
• Complete service calls with high workmanship standards.
• Maintain service records using mobile technology.
• Follow plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Keep vehicle clean and professional; protect customer property.

What You’ll Do

As a Roto-Rooter Plumber / Service Technician, you’ll work directly with residential and commercial customers to diagnose plumbing problems, recommend solutions, and complete high-quality repairs and installations.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems

• Install, repair, maintain, and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, and related equipment

• Perform drain cleaning and sewer line services

• Troubleshoot plumbing problems accurately and efficiently

• Clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers

• Prepare accurate estimates for recommended work

• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards

• Maintain accurate service records using mobile technology

• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle

• Protect customers’ homes and businesses while performing work

• Deliver professional, respectful, and dependable customer service on every call

• Identify additional plumbing concerns and recommend appropriate solutions when necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional plumbing experience required

• Previous experience as a plumber, service plumber, or plumbing technician

• Must have a state plumbing license

• Experience working with residential and/or commercial plumbing systems

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers

• Strong customer-service skills

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds when necessary

• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and outdoor environments

• Ability to participate in an on-call or rotating weekend schedule as needed
