Job summary

AIRO Mechanical in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead on-site plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. You will supervise plumbers and subcontractors, coordinate scheduling, monitor budgets, review drawings, and maintain records while upholding client satisfaction.

This role requires proven leadership, strong technical plumbing knowledge, and a commitment to safety and teamwork within a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Plumbing projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems and installation methods.
• Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Plumbing-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Plumbing technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.
• Ensure that Plumbing installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role:

As a Plumbing Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing Plumbing projects from start to finish.
