Job summary

Airo Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead on-site plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. You will oversee installations, coordinate technicians and subcontractors, and manage resources to maximize efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and the ability to read construction plans. OSHA 10-Hour certification and plumbing licenses are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumbing superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Plumbing-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.
• Ensure that plumbing installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role:
