Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to perform plumbing service work for residential and commercial clients. You will work with the Plumbing Manager and Dispatch to service customers safely and professionally, using proper PPE.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, performing maintenance, and handling on-call rotations. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a valid license, and ability to pass DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial and residential plumbing experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road tests.
• Must work in a drug-free environment and follow safety rules.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety procedures on every job.

Position Summary

With minimal supervision, the Plumbing Service Technician performs plumbing service work for residential as well as commercial clients. This technician works with Plumbing Manager and Dispatch to efficiently service customers in a timely and professional manner. Plumbing Technician dedicates safety focus on each job and utilizes the proper PPE to remain safe at work.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $27.00 - $31.00 Hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing problems
• Perform plumbing service and maintenance work
• Handle residential and commercial plumbing repairs
• Communicate with customers about problems and solutions

• Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Minimum Education And Experience

• 5+ years of commercial and residential plumbing experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
• Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation
• Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work on-call rotations as needed
• Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free. Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
