Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a service technician to diagnose and repair plumbing issues, perform installations, and maintain systems in residential settings. The role emphasizes clear customer communication, accurate cost estimates, and maintaining an organized service vehicle.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and approval to drive by company insurance carrier.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures and drainage systems.
• Install plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters per local codes and company standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and provide solutions.
• Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers before starting work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
