Responsibilities

• Explain findings, options, pricing, and repairs to customers clearly.
• Complete accurate service records, invoices, and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area and vehicle.
• Follow Massachusetts plumbing codes and company safety requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician who can diagnose problems accurately, present practical solutions, and complete repairs to a high professional standard. This role is ideal for a licensed plumber who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and having an established company provide steady work, administrative support, and opportunities to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
• Service fixtures, faucets, toilets, water heaters, sump pumps, piping, gas lines, and related equipment.
• Investigate drain, sewer, and water-line concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and safety checks.
• Clearly explain findings, options, pricing, and recommended repairs to customers.
• Identify legitimate additional needs while maintaining the company's honest, no-pressure approach.
• Complete accurate service records, invoices, and required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area and service vehicle.
• Follow Massachusetts plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support and attend required inspections within the scope of the employee's license and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant plumbing service and troubleshooting experience required.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License is required; Master Plumber License is a plus.
• Experienced plumbing apprentices actively working toward Massachusetts journeyman licensure may also be considered.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing codes and safe work practices.
• Strong customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening, as permitted by applicable law
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to commute to Taunton, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment.
• Pay: $30-$55 per hour, based on license level, experience, and demonstrated ability.
• Additional commission of 2% on qualifying equipment or project sales generated through service calls.
• Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
