Job summary

Champions Group is seeking a Plumbing Service Manager to lead the Plumbing & Drain team and help grow our residential service business while delivering excellent customer experiences. This hands-on, people-focused role balances team development, safety, operations, and performance across service delivery.

You will oversee scheduling, dispatch, quality, KPIs, and customer satisfaction; recruit and retain talented professionals and ensure work meets codes and standards. Growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential plumbing, drain service, or a related home-services environment.
• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience in plumbing or home services.
• Strong understanding of plumbing service and drain operations.
• Track record of developing teams and improving performance.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to balance service quality and business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop plumbing and drain service technicians and support team members.
• Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatch, productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Establish clear expectations and hold the team accountable to safety, service, and performance standards.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support technicians with coaching, technical guidance, ride-alongs, training, and development.
• Help recruit, onboard, and retain talented plumbing professionals.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with codes and company standards.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes and create a seamless customer experience.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with a solutions-focused approach.
• Identify opportunities to grow the Plumbing & Drain business and strengthen team performance.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in residential plumbing, drain service, or a related home‑services environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in plumbing or home services.
• Strong understanding of plumbing service and drain operations.
• A track record of developing teams and improving performance.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• A customer‑first mindset with the ability to balance service quality and business results.
• Ability to use performance metrics and business data to make informed decisions.
• A collaborative leadership style and genuine interest in helping people succeed.
• Plumbing license or relevant trade certifications are a plus.
