3 Mountains Home Services is seeking a Plumbing Service Apprentice to support licensed plumbers on service calls in the Portland metro area. You’ll learn to diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, fixtures, and water heater problems under direct supervision.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment while building a strong technical foundation for advancement in the plumbing trade.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in or interest in plumbing apprenticeship or trade school preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and materials.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with diagnosing and repairing leaks, clogs, fixtures, and water heater issues.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for service calls; perform basic pipe cutting and measuring.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to understand job requirements.
• Support testing of water pressure, drainage, and system performance.
• Document work performed and assist with job notes; keep customer area clean and protected.
