Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Project Manager to lead plumbing construction projects from startup through completion. You will coordinate with leadership, field supervision, contractors, and vendors to deliver safe, on-time, within-budget results while complying with codes and contract requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of commercial plumbing practices, reading blueprints, and proactive communication to manage multiple projects and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing construction practices and project management procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost budgets, material procurement, and labor needs for assigned projects.
• Maintain understanding of project documents, submittals, drawings, and schedules.
• Ensure installations meet IPC and plumbing code requirements.
• Review submittals against project specifications for compliance.
• Coordinate startup activities, scheduling, and material deliveries.
• Work with field personnel to meet goals and deadlines.
• Monitor labor productivity and project cost performance.
• Participate in cost and projection meetings with leadership.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, owners, inspectors, vendors, and subs.
• Attend project meetings and provide coordination support.
• Respond to contractor questions and clarify scope, schedules, and materials.
• Utilize company software platforms and documentation systems.
• Perform administrative tasks including Excel, Outlook, and reporting.
• Coordinate additional tasks to complete project scopes.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and change orders.
