Job summary

YTI Career Institute in York, PA is seeking a Plumbing Program Coordinator with hands-on plumbing experience to lead faculty, support students, and ensure the program delivers required hands-on skills. You will shape curriculum, mentor instructors, monitor progress, and ensure training aligns with industry standards while collaborating with an education team to grow the program.

This role offers the opportunity to influence the next generation of skilled plumbers within a long-established trade

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of recent work as a licensed plumber (excludes apprenticeship).
• PA Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support plumbing faculty to ensure quality instruction.
• Guide curriculum, instruction, and student learning using industry expertise.
• Mentor and develop instructors.
• Monitor student progress and tailor instruction to skill levels.
• Help students develop employable skills for the plumbing industry.
• Ensure training aligns with standards and employer expectations.
• Administer the plumbing program and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Serve as subject matter expert for faculty and students.
• Participate in professional development and program improvement.
