Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a dependable Plumbing Laborer to assist our plumbers with residential and commercial projects. This hands-on role is outdoors, physical, and ideal for someone eager to learn the plumbing trade.

You will dig trenches, carry materials, help install piping, and keep job sites clean while following safety rules. Prior plumbing experience is a plus but training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50–75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, in basements, crawl spaces, and trenches.
• Dependable and able to show up on time.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Construction or plumbing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with service, repair, and installation projects.
• Dig trenches and excavate for water and sewer lines.
• Break and remove concrete for underground plumbing repairs.
• Carry, load, and unload plumbing materials and equipment.
• Help install PVC, copper, cast iron, and other piping.
• Remove old piping, fixtures, and job-site debris.
• Perform basic demolition and job-site preparation.
• Backfill trenches and assist with concrete preparation and cleanup.
• Keep trucks, tools, and job sites clean and organized.
• Follow company procedures and all job-site safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed by the plumber or supervisor.
