Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner in North Carolina is seeking a Journeyman Plumber with 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience. You will install plumbing systems in varied commercial settings and mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install commercial plumbing in various settings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Install hangers to hold pipes in place.
• Work at heights, from ladders, lifts, or roof.
• Install plumbing fixtures.
• Brazing copper.
• Complete testing to ensure proper installation.
• Help teach Apprentices on the job site.

Your main Tasks:

• Work safely no matter what. Safety is our #1 priority.
• Lay out and install commercial plumbing in a wide variety of job settings.

• Usea variety of power& hand tools.
• Brazing copper.
• Complete testing to ensure proper installation.

Experience or Certification needed:

• 4+ years of Commercial Plumbing experience.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.

You need to be able to;

• Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Work as a team.
• Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
• Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Willing to be cross trained in different trades.
• Work efficiently in confined spaces.
• Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
• Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
