APEX Technical School is seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Instructor to teach hands-on work to a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience is required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools!

The position offers competitive pay, great employee benefits, and flexible schedules. Requirements include 3+ years of hands-on fieldwork in construction/plumbing, remodel experience, and knowledge of DWV, boilers, and fixtures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on fieldwork experience in construction and plumbing
• Kitchen and Bathroom remodel experience
• Experience in Framing, Sheetrock, Roofing, and Siding
• Basic branch circuit knowledge
• Experience in installing Plumbing Fixtures and DWV
• Sprinklers
• Boilers
• Fixture installation
• Drain: waste and vent installation
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on plumbing to a group of students
• Share expertise in plumbing fixtures, DWV, sprinklers, boilers and related installations
• Teach safety practices and basic construction principles
• Contribute to hands-on demonstrations and practical sessions
