Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential and/or commercial plumbing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers.
• Excellent communication skills in a professional setting.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on plumbing instruction.
• Teach residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Demonstrate proper installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct practical labs and live demonstrations.
• Train employees on company-specific standards and procedures.
• Develop and update plumbing training curriculum.
• Create lesson plans, presentations, quizzes, and practical exercises.
• Build structured learning paths for apprentices and technicians.
• Maintain training materials aligned with Maryland plumbing code.
• Mentor apprentices through each phase of training and monitor progression.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding apprentice development.
• Maintain digital training records and LMS data.
• Identify skill gaps and support implementation of improved methods.
