Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires one of: a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or an Apprenticeship certificate in Plumbing.
• Minimum four years (8,000 hours) of plumbing work as Journeyman or Master Plumber.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and teaching-related activities.
• Manage the classroom/laboratory.
• Develop curriculum and monitor course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
• Manage equipment, supplies and materials.
• Assess student performance and advise on academic issues.
• Collaborate with advisory committee in program area.
• Attend departmental and institutional meetings.
• Promote the program and recruit/retain students; assist in marketing MATC.
• Support student organizations and activities.
• Develop relationships with business and industry.
• Complete program evaluation and follow-up.
• Maintain certification and stay current in the field.
